Sooooo sick. Why didn't anyone tell me I couldn't eat chocolate anymore?!

I have something of a similar reaction myself; chocolate I can manage without much difficulty, in small amounts--we had it, very rarely, at the monastery. Too much sugar, however, makes me ill.

Dr. Moira said it was the caffiene and the sugar.

Which means no chocolate, no soda, no coffee - I can live with that one, because its -gross- and dude, do you have the same mutation thing I do with fangs and claws and stuff???

Something similar, perhaps, although mine is almost completely skin-deep. I have fur, and sharp teeth, and clawlike nails, but my mutation does not affect my strength or agility.

I'm sorry we have not yet been introduced, either in person or on this system. I am Kylun, one of the teachers here.

I haven't been here too long so I haven't met everyone.

You have fur? Doens't that make clothes kinda annoying, because claws make -shoes- really annoying.

I would think it depends on the clothes--I don't actually have a large wardrobe, so I cannot say for certain. The school, ah, "sweats," are comfortable enough, and the clothes I brought with me from my old home have of course been tailored to my needs. Shoes I can manage; I prefer to go barefoot, but while I was growing up in Switzerland, I was generally only able to indulge myself indoors. Cold feet are much less comfortable than chafed. :)

*nods* It seems to be a part of the avatavistic mutations. Aspirin's usually also a problem - Kyle, remember that, will you? - for the same reasons sugar is; the digestive system changes to accomodate a different diet, usually one high in animal protein.

Yes, I always was given extra meat in my meals at the monastery, and still it was not enough for my taste. I very much like the sheer variety available here, however, and Lorna knows so many wonderful ways to prepare meat.

I know Rahne's been making noises about venison and our deer problem...

Yes, I will be very interested to see how she fares there. I have never, to my knowledge, eaten venison.
