You'll heal. Be thankful it was only a dodgeball. Remember, if you can learn to dodge a ball, you can learn to dodge a fireball or a plasma blast or whatever they chuck at you. Those hurt more.
Can you imagine someone actually having the power to thrown oatmeal? I mean, oatmeal they make same as plasma or fire, just oatmeal instead!
Of course, some people are immune to their own powers so the actual plasma/fire idea might not work too well all of the time.
Because, you know, the following scenario would not make me too happy.
Jan: < lands on the head of Evil Flame Villain > "You want to get me, come flame your own head!" Evil Flame Villain: "OK, I am the mighty Flame Villain and I cannot hurt myself with my own fire!" < flames head > Jan: "Shit!" < gets burnt to a crisp and dies >
You see the part about not doing that with people who can flame their own heads and live to tell the tale? Because that would not be any sort of great tactical choice, would it?
But yeah, hiding on top of Cain's head.... great idea, and funny too!

At least I'm not Forge though. He's like Jr. Trainee X-man Dodge Ball Magnet.
I hope we never fight bad guys with Dodgeball powers. Forge is SO screwed if we do.

Course, that I was laughing my butt off is why I got a dodgeball in the EYE.

Yeah, maybe it's a strategy best used on people not immune to setting themselves on fire.
