Just because I hate them doesn't mean I don't love them, moron. They're family. And even if they abandoned me, at least they're making an attempt to fix it. Which is more than I can say about some families.

No, probably he loves them and if somebody's going to have to rebuke them, he'd rather it be somebody who loves them and wants things to be better than somebody who's just annoyed and wants to hurt them for the way they're acting.
