Thanksgiving went way better than I expected.

Okay, so my mom screamed. A Lot. She was still yelling at me when Clarice left, and I don't think she stopped until Gramma got there.

and then I got fussed over. Which would've been waaaaaaay more annoying except that they gave me money, so -not- complaining. And I'm supposed to use it for clothes, but I've already got a bunch..  and I'd get video games but, I can't find any I want that someone here hasn't already gotten.

So I guess I gotta get clothes, and ..  maybe some new winter stuff, but its not COLD here yet.

How about some winter stuff and something fun? I can't imagine your grandparents would have a problem with that. (And trust me, you will need the winter stuff. Winters here get cold. I speak as the man who got pushed into the lake by his fiancee last March.)

I figure they'll ask me what I got, so I should at least get some winter stuff.

But I think you're all crazy on the cold thing. Cause its NOT cold. Its not even cold enough for more than t-shirts, and I dunno if thats a mutant thing or just a Montana thing. Not cold.

but then, we've already got a couple inches of snow on the ground and I think it was in the 20's when I visited.

I do gotta say, the barefoot thing, not so cool when there's snow. And Clarice made me socks (they're so funny. All grippy-stuff on the bottom and no toes, but warm) but wearin' em outside would get them all wet and that's nogood.

Oh, this isn't really winter yet, Kyle. Wait a few more weeks.

But you're probably going to be more resistant to cold than you were, actually. That's not all that uncommon with feral mutations. I'm not sure whether it's the healing factor or some other physiological thing... Moira's probably the better person to ask.

And now I'm curious about these socks...

All I know is that its -not- cold yet, even if half the school has scarves and winter coats already.

...

wait, wait. did you say before that Dr. Moira pushed you in the lake? WHY?

She thought cold water would have a salutary effect on my mood. Then I kind of pulled her in after me. Unintentionally!

It all ended very well, though.

You know I had to look up that word, right?

If Dr. Moira thinks being chucked in a lake is good for the mood, remind me not to be in a bad mood around her.

The dictionary won't bite you.

Actually, she's a very patient woman, Kyle. I'd just pushed her a little too far that day. Was feeling pretty sorry for myself and told her she was wasting her time with me. She took exception.

Glad it went well. :) And you got good mayhem, at least for a while. ;)

If I start talking all big-words like some people around here, I'm blaming you.

Hmm. I'm pretty sure with me 'tis the fur, but I'm thinking that doesn't apply to most.

you're mother should go talk to well...almost anyone here. She needs to learn better use of invective, I mean, she REPEATED herself!!

but glad everything went okay - I'll be by to get you after I drop Terry back at school :)

Catseye thinks clothes are highly overrated.

Yeah, but you can have fur for if you get cold.

I noticed that. I kinda like pants though. Not much for people seeing my parts.

Catseye also thinks WarmSnugglyFriend thinks about his parts too much. Or is it with? Catseye forgets...

I don't know how to do leather-working, or else I'd make you some leather sock-things. but those SHOULD be at least somewhat water-proof. made from water-resistant yarn

But most people want to stare at other people's parts? Or is it only WarmSnugglyFriend who likes to stare?
